Hypixel SkyBlock Calendar & Events
How SkyBlock's in-game clock works, and a plain-English rundown of every recurring event — what it is, and exactly when it happens.
Hypixel SkyBlock runs on its own calendar, completely separate from real-world dates. Once you understand the clock, every event becomes predictable — and skyblock.events does the math for you, showing the live in-game date and a countdown to everything below.
How SkyBlock time works
SkyBlock time moves much faster than real time. The exact conversions are:
- 1 SkyBlock hour = 50 real-life seconds
- 1 SkyBlock day = 20 real-life minutes
- 1 SkyBlock month = 31 SkyBlock days (about 10 hours 20 minutes real)
- 1 SkyBlock year = 12 months = 372 days = 124 real-life hours (5 days, 4 hours)
The twelve months follow the four seasons, each split into three: Early Spring, Spring, Late Spring, Early Summer, Summer, Late Summer, Early Autumn, Autumn, Late Autumn, Early Winter, Winter and Late Winter. Because a year is only about five real days, the seasons — and the events tied to them — cycle around the real-world clock, so a given in-game date lands at different real times for different players.
Recurring events
Dark Auction
The Dark Auction is a live auction hosted by the Dark Auctioneer where rare items go under the hammer. It runs every real-life hour, starting at 55 minutes past the hour. Our page keeps a permanent Dark Auction countdown at the top.
Traveling Zoo
Oringo's Traveling Zoo caravan visits the Hub twice a year — on the 1st–3rd of Early Summer and again on the 1st–3rd of Early Winter — selling exotic pets you can't buy the rest of the year.
Spooky Festival
The Spooky Festival takes over the Hub on Autumn 29th–31st. It's the year's big Halloween event: farm candy, fight Primal Fears and chase seasonal rewards before it ends.
Season of Jerry & New Year
All of Late Winter is the Season of Jerry, when Jerry's Workshop opens on the Winter Island for gifts and festive activities. The year closes with the New Year Celebration on Late Winter 29th–31st, when a giant cake spawns in the Village granting a permanent health bonus.
Jacob's Farming Contests
Jacob's Farming Contests run roughly every 3 SkyBlock days. Each contest picks three crops; you farm as much of them as you can within the window to earn medals, rewards and a spot on the leaderboard. skyblock.events lists the upcoming contests with their exact crops and a countdown to each, so you can set up the right farm ahead of time.
SkyBlock Bingo
SkyBlock Bingo runs for roughly the first week of each real-world month. You complete a card of goals — some are personal challenges you finish solo, others are community goals the whole server chips away at together. The Bingo section shows whether it's live, the countdown to the next one, and current progress.
Mayor elections
Once per SkyBlock year the server elects a new mayor, with voting open from Late Summer 27th to the following Late Spring 27th. Mayors change which activities are most rewarding each week — see our dedicated mayors & elections guide for the full breakdown.
Never miss an event
Rather than memorise all of this, keep the live calendar open — it recomputes the SkyBlock date every second and counts down to each event automatically. You can even enable browser notifications to get a heads-up before Dark Auctions, farming contests and the big seasonal events begin.
